The intriguing story behind the legendary Big Date aperture of the iconic A.Lange&Söhne watches.

In this episode, we will be deconstructing a vintage Vacheron Constantin pocket watch from 1949, a World Time Pocket Watch to be precise.

It had been a while we didn't produce such a video and we really love making them with our good friend Peter. They are always really interesting and instructive and of course something one should avoid trying by oneself!

Always a pleasure to get our hands on some pretty exceptional timepieces as we have the chance of collaborating with the team of Phillips when it comes to the main lots put on sale during the Geneva auction.

So obviously there are the usual suspects when it comes to Patek Philippe and Rolex, but we have more, in particular an amazing and crazy looking clock (can't really say it's a table clock) developed and manufactured by Swiss specialist La Vallée.

This last one is seriously on of the most amazing time telling object we have seen in years, really totally original and we are happy to share this with you.
