Rolex and Patek Philippe at Sotheby's Geneva Fall Auction

In this video, we will only go over some of the main highlights put on auction by Sotheby's on the 13th of November here in Geneva, including some rare Rolex and Patek Philippe watches, definitely the two hot brands of the auction scene since a few years.

Mr. Sam Hines, auctioneer of the house, shares with us some details about these watches and in particular concerning the Patek Philippe Ref. 2499, the real star of this auction. This Perpetual Calendar timepiece bears a very original feature as it was retailed by Asprey at the time and is in mint condition. What will be interesting to follow is at which price it will be sold, since more than 10 years ago it went under the gavel for 2.6 Million Swiss Francs! How did the market evolve for this kind of timepiece? We will soon know.

Enjoy!
