Geneva Watch Days 2022 - MB&F

The Geneva Watch Days visit continues this time with our good friend Charris Yadigaroglou, Head of Communication at MB&F who presented the latest addition to their Legacy Machine Evo Collection.

The first editions of the LM Split Escapement were presented in MB&F’s classic Legacy Machine case.

The collection, which was presented in Geneva now features the EVO case, conceived for a more active lifestyle.

As Charris described it, you can wear this watch for work, but you can also go swimming on the same day, and you won’t need to take it off your wrist.

Inside the LM Split Escapement EVO case, the movement is suspended thanks to a shock-absorbing “FlexRing” system. By the way, this is a world premiere for such an upgrade.

The LM Split Escapement EVO comes in an icy-cool blue base plate and slate grey subdials.

It looks fantastic on a sunny day and suits almost every outfit. MB&F says they can produce only 40 movements of that kind per year. And there’s another edition, which is reserved exclusively for the MB&F LAB in Beverly Hills and features a striking black base plate and metallic blue subdials.

The latter is limited to 25 pieces only, but personally, we prefer the icy-cool blue version.
