Geneva Watch Days 2022 - H. Moser & Cie

During the Geneva Watch Days, we spoke to many great brands, but this one was special because H. Moser & Cie CEO and owner Edouard Meylan has recently won the Gaïa Prize, just several days before our meeting.

As you know, the Prize honors the very best: those contributing to the reputation of watchmaking, its history, its technology, or its industry.

And we had a chance to be among the first ones to congratulate Edouard on winning this prestigious award in the Entrepreneurship category for his bold career and the entrepreneurial approach he has taken with the H. Moser & Cie. while defending fine mechanical watchmaking and exercising complete independence in component and product development and communication.

Edouard also showed us the new watch that H. Moser & Cie brought to the GWD, and I can`t help but say how cool they are in real life and what fantastic work was done by the brand. We are talking here about the Streamliner Tourbillon Vantablack with a striking total gold bracelet.

The unique super-black coating that retains uniform light absorption from almost all viewing angles is not new for H. Moser & Cie and was taken from the aeronautical industry.

The combination of the luster from the red gold matches perfectly with the dark velvety-looking surface of the dial.

This watch is definitely made to impress, and, we agree, somehow not looking too bling-bling. Check it yourself!

Enjoy and Viva Watchmaking!
