UNBOXING - The Fastback GT Drift Elise by Gorilla

This Drift Elise - a fun watch, limited to 350 piece.

In the current context, we are unboxing today a rather playful timepiece with the Fastback GT Drift Elise by young brand Gorilla. This watch displays time with a cool satellite mechanism, something seen before naturally, but not necessarily at this price point. Though the movement is a pretty standard ETA 2824-2, the satellite module has been specifically developed for this watch by Vaucher, a pretty serious player when it comes to movement development and manufacturing.

The case is made out of forged carbon with an inlay of anodised aluminium and a ceramic bezel, so quite a qualitative proposition by the brand founded by Octavio Garcia and Lukas Good in 2016, both being watch designers per trade and this can felt in some of the details you will see on this watch.

This Drift Elise is a fun piece, something to be worn precisely with this fun intent and for the record it is limited to 350 pieces.
