Best Watches of 2018 according to the GHPG

In today's video report we come back on the winning watches of the recent GPHG ceremony which took place in Geneva on November the 9th.

The main prize of the evening, the Aiguille d'Or, went to Bovet 1822 and their spectacular Grand Récital R22, a complex flying tourbillon perpetual calendar timepiece demonstrating a very high level of technicality, but also the remarkable creativity and finishing skills of the brand. If you want to know more about this watch, we clearly invite you to see the report dedicated to it here: https://youtu.be/6CdMTdAtRWA

But there were many other prizes awarded during this yearly event, which by the way is getting better and better every year, even though not fully reflecting all the interesting watches that came out in the past 12 months.

A special prize of the jury was awarded to Mr. Jean-Claude Biver for his role and career and I must say that this was a rather moving moment.

Enjoy and we still need to think of our own award where you are the judge!!

Viva Watchmaking,

Marc André
