Geneva Watch Week 2023: Jacob & Co

acob & Co is known for its flamboyant, luxury timepieces with complicated mechanisms. But this time the brand came up with quite an unusual, almost modest design.

The key to understanding such a shift lies in the memories of Jacob Arabo. “The World Is Yours” Dual Time Zone watch is a sentimental testimony to one particular timepiece he received from his father at the age of 13 years old and that ignited his future career and passion for watches.

The presented model is 43mm in diameter and 14mm in height. Two dials with different timezones can be adjusted separately and the wind rose in the middle serves as a minute indicator. There's one peculiar thing about this model: the African continent is present both on the dial and on the caseback.

The new Dual Time Zone launches the new “The World Is Yours” collection. There have been only 999 pieces made for a moderate price of USD 57K.

NB: It is worth noting that the colours of the original timepiece are slightly different than the images, published on the brand's website.
