Introducing: Frédérique Constant novelties

Niels Eggerding, CEO of Frédérique Constant, told us about the brand's new timepieces and upcoming projects.

The new Classic Tourbillon Manufacture with the black dial comes in an 18k golden case and signifies the new direction of the Maison to focus more on the manufacture complications. The watch comes in 39mm, a smaller than usual tourbuillon size, and it has a silicium escapement and anchor inside. Frédérique Constant started to use this material in 2008 and now would like to continue to develop and innovate its implementation within the existing calibers of the 700, 800, and 900 series.

The lady's novelty is presented in the Highlife collection from 2019 with the brand-new version of the Automatic Sparkling model. Only 888 pieces will be made. Despite the sporty look of the watch, it has the elegance and the attitude of a classic timekeeper. The sky-blue dial is decorated with shimmering diamonds, as well as the bezel, and the integrated steel bracelet is interchangeable with a second, cloud-white rubber strap.
