GPHG 2023 Nominations, Part I: Mechanical Exception & Petite Aiguille

Two more nominations for the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève or the "Watch Oscar" which is to be held on November 9.

Together with Baudouin Van Es from @tourbillonwatch, Marc André talks about the nominated timepieces in the "Mechanical Exception" and "Petite Aiguille" categories.

Both are as demanding as challenging. "Mechanical Exception" showcases watches featuring a special mechanism, for example, an innovative or sophisticated display, an automaton, a striking or any other acoustic function, and "Petite Aiguille" presents watches with a retail price between CHF 2,000 and CHF 8,000. What was your favourite timepiece from this batch?
