PRIMETIME - Watchmaking in the News - April 2019

One must be honest and April hasn't been a crazy month in terms of new watches launched. Brands holding on to these as we just came out of this busy first quarter with both SIHH and Baselworld behind us.

But happily our good Russian Konstantin Chaykin did introduce something pretty cool with his Mars Conqueror watch, a timepiece really not too useful, but the idea behind it is nevertheless very interesting and creative.

We also saw a really nice limited edition watch by A. Lange & Söhne celebrating the 25th anniversary of their iconic Lange 1, but apart from that nothing too exciting to be noted.

On the business side, the Baselworld saga continues and there were some ups and down news for the challenged trade fair, but there were some other news, dont worry ;)

All the best and Viva Watchmaking!
