URWERK introduces the UR-T8 at the 2017 SIHH
URWERK is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and this brand definitely has an important in paving the way to the cool independent watchmaking scene we like so much today. We naturally discussed this with Martin Frei, co-founder of the brand, and more importantly came back on the special timepiece that celebrates this with the UR-T8.
This watch encompasses some distinct features of the brand, in particular its satellite display of the hour, but for this special edition they made it more complex as the hour indicators stay nicely vertical with a double carousel system.
