The WATCHES.tv GPHG Winner Forecasts

Very soon 12 watches will be awarded the best in their categories for the year 2015. The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève’s ceremony will take place on October 29, and we at TheWATCHES.tv wanted to share with you the watches we think should win. Before breaking the suspense with our forecast, we want to first point out that this competition remains a fantastic platform for small, innovative, and independent brands to get some visibility and recognition.

At the same time, the absence of major watch industry names is indeed a pity. The GPHG doesn’t only award watches; it also puts the excellence of fine watchmaking on the global map, proving how strong, special, and creative it can be. That said, every year the GPHG brings rare and unexpected timepieces into the spotlight. New artistic techniques, additional functions, and surprising displays are always present, becoming a testimony to the powerful energy that flows within the brands. And 2015 should once again be a very cool edition.
