PRIMETIME – July 2016 – Watchmaking In The News

The summer months are generally rather slow months on the watchmaking planet. Many brands simply close their facility for a few weeks and this year is no exception. The historical reason for this used to be for all the various players of the industry to mark a simultaneous pause and not impact production during the rest of the year. One has to remember that when we talk players, these could be really small compared to other industries such as the automotive world. So small they can be, but vital in the chain of production they are since watchmaking has always been the result of a network of competencies put together.

Never the less, we came across come novelties, specially driven by the current Olympics, and we have to share with you some news regarding our Watchmaking Roadtrip to occurred in July. This has been a fantastic experience, some great human encounters and this is what matters the most. You will soon be able to follow this great adventure in September, but we have some teasers ready for you.

And lastly, we also took this opportunity of things being a bit slow to change production facility and this has obviously taken longer then expected. We are finally getting there and this will really provide a new tool for us to work with and get some new and fresh contents for all of you.
