A. Lange & Soehne New Watches at the 2016 SIHH

A. Lange & Söhne is definitely a brand that embodies what fine watchmaking is all about; incredible technical development, outstanding finishing and an iconic design! This year at the SIHH we got to see up close the main novelties presented by the german brand and we could only be impressed by their new timepieces.

We loved for instance the special Lange One Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar, so discreet and elegant, as well as the Richard Lange Jumping Seconds. This last watch bears a very useful function as you take out the crown for time adjustment, the second hand will automatically reset itself to the zero position, making it easy to very precisely set your time.

But then what can be said about the Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon!!! This is such a spectacular timepiece and sums up so nicely the incredible know-how of the brand. For instance all date indications work in a jumping way, the month indicator is represented by a disk that turns on the outside part of the dial, and a very practical power reserve indicator between 9 and 10 o'clock that will make you clearly notice when you fall under the 10 hours left of power reserve.
