The First HAUTLENCE Boutique Opens in Jakarta

In terms of a brand having its own boutique, big brands have been showing the way over the last ten years with massive, costly implementation on key markets. Those boutiques are a physical extension of the brand’s identity. But when it comes to smaller independent brands, this path can take more time to put into place and for good reason: it is a serious investment, and risks clearly need to be assessed beforehand. So when Hautlence decided to take the leap, finding the right location was crucial. This led Hautlence to Jakarta, capital of Indonesia, a rapidly developing country in terms of watchmaking aficionados. CEO and co-founder of Hautlence Guillaume Tetu tells us what this means for him and for the brand.
