IWC New Portuguese Watches At SIHH 2015

The "Portuguese" watch is THE icon of IWC thanks to its very legible dial design, its large diameter and the 'Art Déco' touch of the numbers who contrast the leaf-shaped hands. The latter has made the "Portuguese" very popular among refined men. IWC refreshed the design of the whole collection for the 75th anniversary of its first market appearance. At that time, two Portuguese customers had asked IWC for a particular watch. The brand decided to utilize pocket watch movements for that purpose, which are larger than usual wristwatch calibers. Watches in hand, we also learned that IWC made significant strides toward optimizing its ability to produce its own movements. The Portuguese line includes everything from simple to the most complicated models. As IWC is also a lifestyle brand, have a look at the video and let us know whether you recognize the celebrities who joined the party on Tuesday.
