The Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Collection

The Patrimony line is Vacheron Constantin’s most classic one, even though it is also a contemporary reference in terms of design and style. Indeed, the Patrimony line was launched in 2004 and inspired by a model from 1957. Paradoxically, the simplest models are the ones that need the most time and attention to achieve: every tiny detail has a direct impact on the whole watch because a classic model must be as pure and ascetic as possible to create a harmonious, perfect balance.

The Patrimony collection is one of the best executed, elegant luxury lines in the world of watches. In addition, the Patrimony line contains a few contemporary twists — such as the case diameter of 40 mm — making the watches unequivocally modern. Head of marketing Julien Marchenoir, art director Christian Selmoni, and head of design Vincent Kaufmann tell the story of this relative newcomer that has become a must all on its own.
