About: The Girard-Perregaux 1966 With Blue Dial

Classic can also mean creative and fresh. This is what the Girard-Perregaux 1966 with blue dial and a red gold case seems to say to us. Displaying only the essence of timekeeping –hours, minutes, seconds, and, okay, even the date – it displays a nice, trendy face with its blue dial. Indeed, this dial’s structure - satinated from the center and curved around the periphery – somehow attracts the eye in a special way. Evoking old art deco dials, it is still a very modern take thanks also to the red gold that provides warmth and generous reflections. Its 38 mm diameter also makes it interesting for ladies, of course. But not only as its height of 8.62 mm provides enough volume to fit elegantly on a man’s wrist. We went to Les Ambassadeurs in Geneva to handle this watch and present it to you!
